*’Base rate’ indicates regular services without complications. Examples of complications are if a dog gets sick and we take them to the vet hospital or there is a work emergency and you ask us to do an additional drop in visit, or the training session goes so well that you want to dive into advanced skills and ask more questions, all of those are overtime in our already full days and cost the client more as an add on for that booked service when we ring it all up at the end, like renting a car, or checking out of a hotel, or moving out of an apartment, you get it!

****Visiting Animal Friends offers discounted rates for individuals working in public education, social justice, labor organizing, and environmental justice. If that’s you, please inquire.

If you have a senior animal with special needs please write us instructions to follow while they are in our care. If your animal is a service animal please make us aware of that fact as we will be sure to follow your parameters of treatment to maintain their service training.

Sometimes people think that a dog has a behavior issue, but it’s actually a disability, an infection, or neurodivergence. Disabled pets need special care and they can’t advocate for themselves with words. That’s why we are here with the knowledge to know the signs of possible underlying conditions. Ask us questions about your animal’s health. All animal caretakers on staff are certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR.****

We cannot promise exact arrival times for recurring dog walks and dog adventure pick ups and drop offs due to caring for many animals from many households in one day across complex geography. Our arrival times are not exact to accommodate as many animals as possible. We aim for a 2-hour window of arrival for dogs, and a 3-hour window of arrival for cats, unless otherwise indicated.
